Mindfire releases a Servoy application to manage appointments

Mindfire has recently released an application in Servoy to manage appointments called the "mfModuleAppointments". This module provides an efficient way to create and maintain appointments. mfModuleAppointments is an appointment module developed in Servoy which can be embedded with any existing Servoy application to serve user appointments.

It is a user friendly interface, which facilitates user to create & manage their appointment schedules. This app provides keyboard shortcuts and context menus for easy handling of appointments. The best thing about this app is that it is both Smart and Web client compatible. For the purpose of multiple language support, Internationalization has been implemented. The application notifies users even before the start of an appointment by sending alerts which can be configured in settings. A similar module called "mfModuleBatchprocessor" is also created which works as a batch processor and runs in the Servoy Server as a headless client. This headless client periodically checks the upcoming appointments and sends e-mail notification to the respective users about their upcoming appointments.

The overall benefit of "mfModuleAppoinments" is that it effectively manages appointments thereby reducing time and effort and allows user of any language to easily access the application. It also helps to manage concurrent appointments at a particular time. The current version of the application is mfModuleAppointements 1.0. This module is compatible with Servoy 5.2.4 versions. Application has been developed by Pradipta Behera one of the Servoy developers at Mindfire Solutions.
