Mindcore And Its Leadership Give Back To Communities In Need.
- (1888PressRelease) June 28, 2015 - Montville, NJ - Mindcore and its leadership served as a sponsor for CarePlus of NJ's 17th Annual Courage Awards Gala recently held at The Venetian in Garfield, NJ.
Mindcore is a leader in IT Managed Services and Private Cloud Solutions, acting not only as an outsourced IT department, but also as a trusted partner and business advisor. They offer a broad portfolio of services and solutions to help businesses truly utilize technology to increase their productivity, reduce their risk and exposure, and increase their profitability.
The Courage Awards Gala, CarePlus Foundation's largest fundraiser of the year, celebrates courage, hope, and happiness by honoring those who work tirelessly on behalf of individuals and families facing the daily and life-long challenges of mental illness and substance abuse. This year's event raised over $157,000 to raise much-needed funds for those very same individuals and families.
Mindcore's President and CEO Matt Rosenthal, Vice-President & COO Brandon Marks and Business Development Executive, Mat Mendel, are altruistic as a team and individually. Rosenthal sits on the Board of the Metro YMCA of the Oranges, and is a member of the Wayne Volunteer Fire Department (Co. 3). Marks is involved with the Multiple Sclerosis Society and a supporter and contributor to several area nonprofits. Mendel, a member of CarePlus' Board of Directors, is also on the planning committee for the Bergen Bike Tour (supporting Tomorrow's Children Fund and the Volunteer Center of NJ) and actively involved with a variety of causes including ALS and mental health.
According to Rosenthal, "We are delighted to sponsor events for worthwhile endeavors such as CarePlus of NJ. It is a priveledge to give back to the community." The CarePlus Foundation recognized Dr. Dina Vaynberg, formerly of the USSR, for her decades of service with the organization, representing the best in the field of mental health care. Born and raised in the former USSR, she graduated from one of the most prestigious Medical Schools in Eastern Europe. Her education was followed with a Residency Training in Internal Medicine, as well as a Fellowship in Psychiatry. She was quite an accomplished physician in the USSR up until her emigration to the United States in the 1980s. At that point in time she not only had to learn English, but she also had to retake her exams, certifications and trainings to continue her practice.
After completing her Residency Training and Fellowship in New York, she began her work as an Attending Psychiatrist, and soon relocated to Bergen County. In the late 1980s, Dr. Vaynberg began her career with CarePlus as a full-time Psychiatrist, balancing that work with continuing education and her own private practice as well.
This year's honorees also included The Sefcik Family, survivors of suicide loss and advocates in prevention with their presentation "Remembering T.J. - A Story of Teen Depression, Lessons and Hope;" John Cosgrove, Mayor of Fair Lawn and supporter of the Fair Lawn Stigma-Free Zone Initiative; and Kenneth Ehrenberg, the Chief of the Paramus Police Department and collaborative leader in crisis de-escalation and mental health awareness.
In addition to the honorees, the 29 recipients of the 2015 Bernard Dubnick Scholarship were recognized for their hard work and determination to further their education. The Foundation is proud to have awarded the largest amount of scholarships to date, totaling $55,000.
