Mina Delivers A Message With Her "22 Cents Less" Debut
Up and coming young star Mina Alali has just released her debut album, "22 Cents Less" through Kick-A-Beat Records. A North American radio and press campaign has been launched to promote it and already has popped up on regional radio charts.
- New York, NY (1888PressRelease) December 07, 2016 - As a species we've had to fight for more than our rights to party. Over the years in the USA women have fought for their right to education, to own property, to vote, to have reproductive rights, to work and earn equal pay. MINA, a student at the Berklee College of Music, acknowledges the reality of graduating college and working at a job that may pay her 22¢ less than her male co-workers. Her debut album, "22 Cents Less", shares some thoughts on this matter.
Born in Connecticut, Mina Alali moved to Davis, California at an early age and as a preteen formed an acapella ensemble called The 4 Harmonies with some of her school friends. This led to performances at NBA games, her own radio show on KDRT, and eventually, a solo career. She has also traveled to France and Iran, her father's birthplace, where she studied the language and local music.
When the owner of Kick-A-Beat Records heard the up and coming young star she swiftly signed Mina to her label and personally saw to the singer's production needs in the recording studio. Together the two created and collaborated on Mina's debut, "22 Cents Less", which was released mid-autumn of this year. While they carefully cover current social issues throughout the music it is always the music itself which is their primary concern.
A North American radio and press campaign has been launched to promote "22 Cents Less" and already it has not only popped up on regional radio charts as well as appeared on two national radio airplay charts but has also begun a steady ascent on to the top of those playlists. She's also just released a holiday video (https://youtu.be/v1ZAa3Whw2Q) titled "What I Want" as a special yuletide gift for her ever growing base of fans.
As of this time Mina is available for interviews and/or appearances. Her press-kit will be provided upon request to all members of the media (just use the media contact information provided below). News, updates and additional information may also be found at: http://www.minaalali.com.
