- (1888PressRelease) January 16, 2014 - Milton residents, politicians and community supporters were treated to a marvelous celebration last weekend as MinMaxx Realty Inc. held its grand opening and customer appreciation event.
The regular annual client and partner appreciation event saw more than 1,000 people come out to enjoy a day of exciting entertainment, featuring everything from luxury sports cars to a magic show, multicultural dancers and delicious cuisine. Children enjoyed face painting, balloons, cotton candy and more.
Azim Rizvee, president, CEO and Broker of Record for MinMaxx organized the event to give back to the community he loves. It's one of several client appreciation events MinMaxx has offered.
Last year, he took supporters and clients to African Lion Safari during the first of the annual events. In addition, MinMaxx's other events include: two separate movie premiers of Pirates of the Caribbean, On Stranger Tides and Cars 2 in Cineplex Galaxy Theatres Milton, an annual event at the Holiday Inn and sponsoring various community events.
This year's client and partner appreciation event kicked off with an official ribbon cutting at MinMaxx's office at 1220 Main St. E. Azim got the chance to personally drive Milton Mayor Gord Krantz in a bright red Ferrari to the office for the well-attended event.
Meanwhile, the Milton Centre for the Arts, where most of the day's activities took place, was packed with people who watched the ribbon cutting, via a live feed, in the MinMaxx Hall, Mattamy Theatre and throughout the Arts Centre.
"I'd say it's the biggest indoor party Milton's ever seen," said the humble, community-loving Azim, whose company was recognized by the Toronto Real Estate Board in 2012, which bestowed its coveted 'Community Service Award' to Azim. "The entertainment is a celebration of two things: Milton's rich history and Milton's growing diversity."
After the ribbon cutting, guests converged at the arts centre where they were treated to a delicious selection of refreshments and lunch.

He carries this over into MinMaxx as a community-minded business, supportive of the town and its citizens. In fact, MinMaxx was honoured as Business of the Year by Milton Chamber of Commerce and Azim was nominated as Business Person of the Year.

The rest of the afternoon's celebration was dedicated to having fun and guests certainly had a great selection of activities to keep them entertained. Those on hand were also given a souvenir photo of the event thanks to a specialized photo booth set up that offered various backdrops such as sports cars and magicians.
Two magic shows - considering the keen interest and large number of families in attendance, featuring Ted Outerbridge: Clockwork Mysteries, wowed everyone.
Most-delighted car enthusiasts had a chance to take a seat in a simulated super car. Once seated, drivers got to choose any race track in the world, offering a virtual experience that everyone loved.
Meanwhile a multicultural dance performance featured colourful dancers in the style of Vegas, Sumba, Chinese and Indian.
"That's the beauty of Milton…so much rich history and such a wonderful multicultural community," Azim added.
He was also pleased to be able to announce the launch of Milton.com, a soon-to-be active community portal featuring all things Milton.
Azim said events like this celebration take many months of planning, but he enjoys doing it as a way to pay back and thank all MinMaxx clients, partners and the community at large for all their efforts and continued support to help MinMaxx. Their efforts allow MinMaxx to successfully deliver best-in-class and over-the-top service and results to make a difference in everyone's life they work with.
No doubt, next year's event will be2 just as wonderful.
