The October 12th Canadiana auction featured furniture, decoys, pottery, stoneware, Canadiana and coin banks. The October 13th Canadian Folk Art sale had great folk art and carved decoys.
The September 7th Petroliana & Advertising auction will feature 308 lots. The September 8th Soda & General Store Advertising auction contains 400 lots. Both will start at 9 am Eastern.
The auction featured 414 lots of general store, art glass, Canadiana, advertising signs, Western collectibles, pottery and stoneware, art, lamps and lighting, plus the 3 paintings by Maud Lewis.
John H. Kinnear was a friend and confidante of Ms. Lewis’s, as well as a fellow artist. Mr. Kinnear’s daughter Sheila is offering the letters – a discovery of rare correspondence into Maud Lewis’s secluded life.
The March 1st Toys auction featured the late Howard Meyer Legacy Collection. The March 2nd Petroliana & Advertising auction had petroliana, advertising signs, toys, model planes and more.
