Mill Bay Ventures Inc. is pleased to announce that a program of trenching, excavating and milling of 3,000 tonnes of quartz-sulphide vein material is planned for its 100% owned Valentine Mountain Gold Project.
(1888PressRelease) August 19, 2011 - Mill Bay Ventures Inc. announces that a program of trenching, excavating and milling of 3,000 tonnes of quartz-sulphide vein material is planned for its 100% owned Valentine Mountain Gold Project. The plan has been approved by BC government Ministry of Energy and Mines.
The Valentine Project features a 7 X 0.5 km area of known gold-quartz vein occurrences. The focus of the planned bulk sampling program will be to excavate and assess the down-dip surface extension of the "B", "C" & "D" vein systems in the Discovery Zone (in a 0.5 X 0.2 km area). In addition to surface excavation, the gold-quartz vein material will be processed in 100 tonne per day, gravity bulk sampling plant on site.
The intent of bulk sampling of the Discovery Zone is to process a total of 3,000 tonnes and determine and optimize parameters for possible future underground mining and mineral processing operations to recover gold from ore veins.
