Mill bay ventures contracts soil sample survey on ac claim group, nevada.
(1888PressRelease) July 23, 2011 - Mr. William Glasier reports: Mill Bay Ventures Inc. has contracted Minerals Exploration and Environmental Geochemistry to collect 180 soil samples to be analyzed for mercury on its AC claim group, Lander county, Nevada. The mercury-soil gas method detects weakly bound mercury in soil that is often related to deeply buried precious and base metal mineralization. As mercury is highly mobile and often migrates along faults, survey results reveal mineralized feeder structures that may host or delineate the presence of precious metal deposits.
The mercury-soil gas survey will test for gold mineralization associated with the western flank of a major gravity high and three north-south-trending structures recently defined by a CSAMT geophysical survey.
AC project data, including a PowerPoint presentation, gravity and CSAMT reports, can be viewed on the Mill Bay website.
