Mill bay ventures reports 1. 22 g/t of gold over 1. 31m at valentine mountain.
(1888PressRelease) July 20, 2011 - Mr. William Glasier reports:
Mill Bay Ventures Inc. has released gold results from its 100-per-cent-owned Valentine Mountain gold project located 35 kilometres northwest of Sooke, B.C. A program of 6 diamond drill holes totaling 1,464.1m was completed on the Lower BN and Discovery East Zones.
The objective of the drilling was to intersect depth extensions of known mineralization in previous drill holes. The following results were obtained from drill holes collared about 0.2-0.3 km east of the Discovery Zone.
Total estimated resource in the Discovery Zone is 55,105 tonnes of 16.3 g/t (0.52 oz/t) indicated, as reported in a mineral resource estimate prepared in accordance with NI-43-101 by Jacques Houle, P.Eng., on April 14, 2011.
The results are based on analysis of split core sampling, supervised by Andris Kikauka. PGeo, the company's qualified person for the property. The split core samples were analyzed by ALS Minerals, North Vancouver, B.C. (certificate No. VA11101001).
Further evaluation of gold bearing mineralization in depth and lateral extensions of the Discovery Zone, as well as detailed surface sampling and mapping of the middle and upper BN Zone are planned for Valentine Mountain.
Andris Kikauka, P.Geo., is the qualified person (under the guidelines of NI-43-101) responsible for reporting geological and geochemical results from the Valentine Mountain Gold Project.
