FRANCORP is supporting MILKYWAY by preparing the franchise concept evaluations and framework development; economics and management of franchise network; guidelines for franchise operating systems and manuals; marketing guidelines and franchisee recruitment process; performance management and reporting system; franchisee revenue model and fees structuring and finally preparing legal agreements- guidelines.
MILKYWAY today is arguably the best and famous ice-cream parlor in the city, serving more than 10 lakh customers every year. The manufacturers of MILKYWAY products create the ingredients in their own manufacturing facility which is around 6500sq.ft. The facility is located in Chennai and is in the process of obtaining ISO 22000 certification. This ensures that the product developed are consistently well made and in the most hygienic conditions. With its systematic approach and processes MilkyWay manufactures softy ice creams and thick milk shakes with world-class Italian machines. These machines are state of the art and churn out ice creams of the highest quality under the most hygienic conditions. Most of the ingredients used in manufacturing process are ISO9001-2000 or HACCP certified, thereby ensuring the quality of the products is of the highest standard.
The menu boasts with more than 300 varieties of ice cream and thick shakes, which are prepared freshly, cream soda pops, waffle cone specialties, Jello Sundaes, Soft fantasies (sundaes with pastry base), thick and creamy milk shakes and a whole gamut of specialty sundaes that give a zing to one's taste buds. MilkyWay Ice cream parlours have now opened in different Malls in Chennai. Currently, MilkyWay has opened in Ampa Skywalk Mall, K.K Nagar, Periyarnagar, Annanagar, Puruswalkam, Egmore, Sri Sai Nagar, S.P.Infocity and will shortly be opening in Siruseri and Bangalore.
