Military Family Wins New Hyundai Accent From The Tony Group Autoplex At Army 4th Of July Celebration

(1888PressRelease) July 17, 2010 - WAIPIO, HAWAII - Kristen and Scott Brooks of Schofield Barracks won a brand new 2010 Hyundai Accent from Tony Hyundai at the Tony Group Autoplex during the 39th Annual 4th of July Spectacular at Schofield Barracks. The Brooks family, including their three sons, Aidan, Conlan and Nolan, live on base at Schofield Barracks where Scott Brooks is stationed with the U.S. Army.

"When I turned the key and opened the car door, it was a surreal experience," said Kristen Brooks. "When I learned from the MWR that I was a finalist, I thought there's no way I would win the car. And then I won. It's amazing! The only thing I've ever won was a t-shirt so this is incredibly exciting."

Contestants pre-qualified to win the 2010 Hyundai Accent by entering at the Army's Schofield PX or by entering at the 39th Annual 4th of July Spectacular at Schofield Barracks. A total of 10 final contestants received a key and one by one attempted to open the driver's side door of the new Hyundai Accent. This is the third year Tony Group has given away a new vehicle at the event and is proud of its association with United States Army.
