MiCTA Seeks Proposals For Voice over IP Products and Services
Proposals will be accepted until February 28, 2014.
- (1888PressRelease) January 10, 2014 - MiCTA, a national non-profit technology consortium, and Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana have issued a Request For Proposals from qualified vendors of Voice over IP (VoIP) services. Vendors that wish to receive a copy of the RFP should contact MiCTA to request one immediately. The deadline to respond is February 28, 2014.
"Voice over IP services continue to become more attractive to our members, as they look to leverage their investments in their network infrastructure," says Tim von Hoff, Chief Operating Officer of MiCTA. "Our members regularly deploy Voice over IP implementations, and continue to evaluate new VoIP solutions as they enter the marketplace," says von Hoff. "MiCTA seeks to negotiate Master Service Agreements with VoIP providers on behalf of our members to both aggregate demand and provide the best possible pricing on these services".
"MiCTA is known among its members for negotiating exceptional pricing on a wide range of technology," says von Hoff. "We are seeking proposals from VoIP vendors of all sizes, and geographic coverage areas." According to von Hoff, MiCTA membership numbers in the thousands and a MiCTA Master Service Agreement enables its members to take advantage of volume pricing.
