MICROJIG’s Bruce Wang makes Woodworking Network’s ‘40 Under 40’ list

Woodworking Network named Wang to its 2019 “Wood Industry 40 Under 40” list for his industry innovations and disruptions. Wang was honored at a ceremony on July 16 at the Association of Woodworking & Furnishing Suppliers show. He will also be featured in a special edition of FDMC Magazine in October.
“I appreciate the honor and am very humbled by the distinction as a reflection of our teams’ contribution to our community,” Wang said. “We all work hard to bring a magical product experience to our customers around the globe.”
This is the fourth year for the 40 Under 40 awards, and all facets of the wood products industry were represented in the 2019 class, from manufacturers and suppliers to designers and educators.
Wang’s father, Henry, founded MICROJIG in his Orlando garage. Since then, Wang has steered the company’s development from one product line to seven. Wang also oversaw the expansion of online sales through retail giants like Amazon.
In addition, Wang dedicated MICROJIG to helping career technical education students explore their woodworking passions safely. MICROJIG’s school donation program recently celebrated its anniversary. Wang aims to put two of the company’s GRR-RIPPERS on every school woodshop table saw by 2020. So far, the company donated 1,058 GRR-RIPPERS to schools around the country.
