Held annually, the award recipients are chosen by a distinguished judging panel of industry insiders. The awards are divided into 11 categories in different application areas and are designed to give recognition to companies of a range of sizes, from local start-ups to multinational companies. The winners were announced at a gala dinner Friday, December 6, attended by over 150 delegates from every segment of the semiconductor industry. The event was rounded off by a panel discussion that took as its theme, 'Re-engineered and Re-modeled: Increased Semiconductor Content in the Connected World.'
