Michigan Lean Consortium to host Russ Scaffede on Nov. 10 in Grand Rapids
The Michigan Lean Consortium and Pawley Lean Institute are hosting a lean manufactoring event on Wednesday, Nov. 10, from 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at Grand Rapids Community College Auditorium in Grand Rapids, Mich.
- Detroit, MI (1888PressRelease) October 12, 2010 - The Michigan Lean Consortium (MLC) along with Pawley Lean Institute is hosting a lean leadership event on Wednesday, Nov. 10, from 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at Grand Rapids Community College Auditorium in Grand Rapids, Mich.
The title of this event will be "Can lean assist in a Michigan Manufacturing improvement effort?"
Russ Scaffede, in association with the University of Michigan will be leading this event. The MLC and Pawley Lean Institute are sponsoring this event that will be a presentation on lean leadership in Michigan businesses.
Scaffede is one of America's most knowledgeable and successful leaders of lean manufacturing operations. A former Toyota manufacturing executive, Scaffede has been the chief operating architect of the successful lean transformations at Donnelly Corporation and Tiara Yachts and he is a former Chairman of the Shingo Prize Board of Governors.
The cost for this event is $15 for non-members.
