Michigan Author Releases Second Novel
If you're on vacation, fly commercial. If you're on business, fly charter. If you're on a mission, fly with Mickey.
- Detroit, MI (1888PressRelease) January 18, 2012 - Christopher Hudson announces the publication of his second novel, Headwind. Published by Aerial Productions, the book is available in print from Amazon and as an e-book from Kindle. Hudson describes his novel as an action-packed adventure about three people thrown together under unusual circumstances and the bond they form as they travel across the country chasing a bag of money.
Hudson says, "Headwind is about crime and double-crosses and narrow escapes, but at it's core it is about the choices that are made and relationships that form when people from vastly different backgrounds experience the stress of extraordinary experiences."
He goes on to explain, "Tony, a small time gangster, suspects that two Miami mob enforcers on their way to California have money owed to him and he is determined to get it back. He talks Mickey, a commercial pilot with a penchant for making bad decisions, into flying him after the money. Gina, his pretty and savvy cousin, ends up jumping in to help Tony out the jam he has gotten himself into. The cross-country adventure they find themselves on is surprising, harrowing, often funny and it leads them each to place none would have expected to go."
Christopher Hudson was born and raised in Michigan. He lived for several years in northern Michigan, but better job opportunities lured Hudson back to the metropolitan Detroit area where he became a self-described "on-and-off denizen of cubeville." He worked for several major training and marketing firms, producing scores of industrial films and training programs, but he devoted leisure time to creative writing, resulting in two novels, several screenplays, several short stories and video scripts.
