The evening's Charmain, Vince Stevenson described the event in his introduction as a soire of spectacular speaking. Nobody left disappointed.
(1888PressRelease) June 24, 2011 - On Tuesday 21st June 2011, twice UK National public speaking Champion Michael Ronayne enthralled the audience in a packed Bloomsbury House by demonstrating some of his prize winning speeches and giving his insights into what makes a good presentation.
Supported by former 'Apprentice' Star Paloma Vivanco, both speakers gave a comprehensive analysis of how important a good presentation can be, not just professionally, but also personally.
In a departure from a typical evening format, the packed audience were also given a chance to get in on the act. Some of those daring enough were given the opportunity to deliver their own short off the cuff impromptu speech.
'Speaking is about doing', said Michael, co Director of the College of Public Speaking. 'We like to give the audience more of a chance than just asking the occasional question. You can only learn so much by listening. In the end you only find out by getting up and doing it yourself!'
The College of Public Speaking is one of the UK's finest Presentation Skills Training Organisations and it is reassuring to see the experts willing to put themselves into the firing line and really demonstrate what they teach.
