Michael Peacock Joins E Source To Lead The Smart Grid Offerings
Smart Grid expert joins the E Source team as the senior product manager.
- Denver, CO (1888PressRelease) January 13, 2011 - E Source has hired Michael Peacock as senior product manager for the E Source Intelligent Grid Service. This service provides utilities with industry best practices and guidance pertaining to smart grid-related technologies, programs, communications, data security, and privacy.

He brings a wealth of industry product management experience having worked previously for a leading smart grid technology company that provides energy management software, hardware and services for consumers and utilities," said Kenneth Black, executive vice president of Member Services at E Source. "His experience determining product road maps, target markets, competitive trending, and product interoperability priorities will be a great asset to our members."
Peacock has more than 20 years of product and program management experience developing hardware, software, and software-as-a-service (SaaS) products as well as using Agile/Scrum and Systems Development Life Cycle methodologies. Most recently, he was a product manager at Tendril Networks Inc., where he was responsible for managing the new product introduction process for web-based software products and ZigBee wireless devices focused on energy management for consumers and utility companies. Peacock also has experience with voice over Internet Protocol and Wi-Fi telephony products.
