Event Synopsis:
To continuously protect employees from injury and other workplace hazard, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regularly updates its compliance and inspection requirements for employers. The recently added OSHA inspection protocols in Section 5(a)(1) or General Duty Clause, along with the increased penalty stance for employers who fail such inspections, are among the most significant developments.
While it is clear that OSHA will continue to keep a sharp eye on offenders, employers on the other hand, need to strategically prepare for inspections, taking into account the updates and new requirements.
Listen as a panel of distinguished professionals organized by The Knowledge Group provide the audience with an overview of the latest developments involving the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Speakers, among other things, will offer helpful insights and practical tips for employers to successfully pass inspections in compliance with the new requirements.
In a LIVE Webcast, the speakers will discuss:
• The Occupational Safety and Health Administration - Overview
• In Focus: OSHA Section 5(a)(1)
• New Inspection Protocols and Penalties
• New Rules for Recordkeeping
• An Outlook of OSHA in 2018
