Members are accepted based upon objective evaluation of an attorney’s qualifications, license, reputation, experience and disciplinary history.

Michael is licensed to practice law in Louisiana and is the only Louisiana Attorney joining as a 2025 Member of Lawyers of Distinction. While Michael currently lives in central Florida he practices Federal Securities Law in all 50 states. Michael practiced criminal law, personal injury, international law, international trade and finance as well as securities law for decades and in each of these areas he rose to prominence.

Michael held FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, 79 and 99 Licenses and has been a partner in or owned multiple FINRA Broker Dealer firms, taking many companies public.

For a number of years Michael appeared as a regional host of the Jerry Lewis Telethon and served on its executive committee to help fund raising on the Muscular Dystrophy Telethon.

Lawyers of Distinction Members have been selected based upon a review and vetting process by our Selection Committee utilizing U.S. Provisional Patent # 62/743,254.
