Michael Ceranski to become new Senior Vice President of BASF’s Global Business Unit Human Nutrition
Michael Ceranski (47) will become Senior Vice President of BASF’s Global Business Unit Human Nutrition, located in Lampertheim, Germany, effective January 1, 2012. Ceranski is currently Vice President, Business Management Crop Protection Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Benelux.
- (1888PressRelease) November 28, 2011 - Dr. Massimo Armada (48), currently Senior Vice President, Human Nutrition, has elected to leave the company effective December 31, 2011 to take over new responsibilities.
Michael Ceranski joined BASF after completing his studies in business administration at the University of Cologne, Germany. He has over 20 years’ experience in various sales and marketing positions and as managing director in the agro and nutrition sector, both in Germany and internationally. From 2001 to 2006 he was Vice President Crop Protection, Head of Global Strategic Marketing Fungicides in Limburgerhof, Germany. In November 2006 Ceranski took over the responsibility as Vice President, Head of Crop Protection Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Benelux with approx. € 500 millions in sales and 250 employees in seven countries.
