MICA Gears Up for its Two Day Long Annual Marketing Fest: Micanvas
With the weekend just around the corner, Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad is gearing up its annual marketing management festival, Micanvas.
- (1888PressRelease) November 21, 2013 - The event is sponsored by Garnier Men, Micanvas 2013 promises to be a 2 day extravaganza filled with an array of formal and informal events which draws participation from premier B-schools in the country.
This year, the mega festival will be inaugurated by Sushant Dash, Global Brand Director at Tata Global Beverages. The festival sees massive participation from top B-schools in the country for events like 'Last Manager Standing', which is a two day event where the best brains of the Business School fraternity compete with each other through various tasks for a prize of 1 lakh rupees. E#, to be held in the evening of 16th November, will witness pro- and semi-pro bands from across the country compete for musical supremacy.
Apart from the judging the event, Paradigm Shift, a progressive rock band based out of Mumbai, will also be performing post the event. 'The Dusty Trail' , an event on the lines of the popular TV show 'The Amazing Race', will have participants roaming the city of Ahmedabad looking for clues and performing rigorous tasks along the way. The event is sponsored by McDonalds.
Traditionally, Micanvas is concluded in élan with Adrenaline, a concert featuring some of the best performers in the country. This year Adrenaline, sponsored by Garnier Men and MTS Rising is proud to present Indian Ocean, the pioneers of the fusion rock genre in India. With hits like "Kaun" from Kandisa, "Subaah Ki Roshni" from Hulla under their belt, Indian Ocean promises to enthrall audiences with their unique mix of Indo-rock fusion with jazz-spiced rhythms that integrates shlokas, Sufism, environmentalism, mythology and revolution.
