Miami-Based Blanca Commercial Real Estate Expands Team with Alison Pages
Top commercial real estate professional joins one of South Florida's most active commercial real estate services firms as executive vice president.
- Miami, FL (1888PressRelease) July 14, 2012 - Miami-based commercial real estate brokerage and advisory firm Blanca Commercial Real Estate is growing its team of professionals with the addition of Alison Pages, who will serve as executive vice president. Ms. Pages' arrival brings additional senior-level talent to the firm's tenant and landlord representation practices. She benefits from more than 20 years of market expertise having closed office transactions totaling approximately 1,500,000 square feet of space and valued at over $250 million throughout her career.
Ms. Pages' addition to the Blanca Commercial Real Estate team coincides with the firm's third consecutive year of steady growth, dating back to its founding in 2009. Since then, the company has emerged as one of the most active commercial real estate services firms in South Florida with a total transaction volume of approximately $430 million, having advised clients in the completion of more than 1.8 million square feet of lease and sales transactions.

Prior to joining Blanca Commercial Real Estate, Ms. Pages specialized in office and medical leasing at Colliers International South Florida as senior vice president where she was responsible for all aspects of deal generation and establishing long-term relationships with tenants, brokers, and building owners. During her tenure there, she represented and assisted with the site selection and relocation process of corporate headquarters and expansion sites for various clients, including CarePlus/Humana Health Plans and Wicker Smith Law Firm. In addition, she represented a variety of institutional and local building owners, including TA Associates and TIAA CREF. Most recently, Ms. Pages successfully closed two transactions with VITAS Healthcare and Florida Career College for a total of 65,000 square feet.
Before joining Colliers, Ms. Pages was affiliated with several other well-respected commercial real estate firms, including Flagler Realty Services, Inc. (formerly known as Codina Realty Services, Inc.), CB Richard Ellis and Abood & Associates, Inc. At Flagler, she was responsible for overseeing the leasing efforts for Mellon Financial Center (now known as Sabadell Financial Center), a 550,000 square foot, class A office building in Downtown Miami's Brickell Financial District. While there, her efforts increased the building's occupancy level from 65 to 99 percent. In addition, Ms. Pages represented Miami Children's Hospital in the acquisition of sites for urgent care centers totaling approximately 85,000 square feet.
Ms. Pages began her career in commercial real estate with Paragon Group in its property management group and transitioned in 1992 to the appraisal, asset acquisition and disposition group at AREEA (now Integra) working directly with Michael Cannon.
In addition to her work as a commercial real estate broker, Ms. Pages is active in South Florida's civic and business communities. She is affiliated with the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties and is a member of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce. She is also an active fundraiser for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and participates as a team committee member for the annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.
Ms. Pages holds a Bachelor's degree in business management from Barry University and an Associate's degree in business administration from Miami-Dade College.
