MI Safety Announces new Training instructor "Aaron" for CPR and First Aid Certification Program
Mi Safety has implemented latest first aid instructor Aaron teaching for its standard first aid and CPR course.
- (1888PressRelease) November 12, 2013 - MI Safety is excited to announce our new first aid instructor Aaron for the weekly first aid course that we offer. Aaron is a RMT and he will be teaching the course on occasion. Deanna is our regular instructor, but she will be helping out with sales.
The dates of our weekly scheduled first aid and cpr course will not change. We will continue to offer it on Monday and Tuesdays. In the case of a long weekend that falls on Monday, we always bump the days to Tuesday and Wednesday.
The first aid course is certified by the Canadian Red Cross, however we are able to offer the St John's Ambulance format if needed. The course is offered at our Devon Alberta Facility, which is just minutes from the Edmonton International Airport, Nisku, Leduc and Acheson. It is also close for customers from Red Deer.
The first aid course can come in the Emergency or the Standard version. The emergency version covers what to do for life threatening injuries, and the standard version additionally covers how to handle not only life threatening injuries, but injuries that can become life threatening. Both the emergency and standard first aid course, also cover CPR. Depending on who is in class, we will offer levels A, B, or C CPR. Generally we complete the level C cardio pulmonary resuscitation CPR as this deals with all groups, infants, children and adults. Even thought you may be taking first aid for work, most people have family members who are infants or children. Included in all of our first aid courses is a section on automated external defibrillators AED.
The topics covered in our courses are:
Responding to an emergency
The ems System
Disease prevention and barriers to help
The primary Survey
Respiratory Emergencies
Cardiac Arrest, Angina and Heart Attack
CPR and AED
The Secondary Survey
Head injuries
Spinal Injuries

If you have a group of 8 students we will travel to your site and provide this course on your schedule. We often offer weekend courses for companies.
