We are very fortunate to have had the opportunity to serve our customers for 50 years.
Hartford, CT (1888PressRelease) July 01, 2015 - Metallon Inc has recently celebrated its' 50th anniversary as a Connecticut based precision metal stamping company. Metallon originally started stamping small parts for the electronics industry in lighter gauge metal. Today the company employs 50 people and has metal press capacity of 150 tons and can process metals in excess of 150 inches thick.
"Over the past half century, Metallon has honed its ability to provide high-volume complex metal stamping services, as well as design, engineering, assembly and finishing. From prototype through production, we have maintained a relentless focus on quality, a drive to design for manufacturability, and a reputation for cost-effective excellence. We approach customers' product development and production efforts as though they were our own," said Company President Paul Ayoub.
Raw materials commonly used in production include low and high carbon steels, stainless steel, aluminum, brass and copper alloys and pre-coated metals. At a customer's request, Metallon has developed new technology for stamping deck and trim plugs from composite wood for the building trades, which now accounts for a sizeable portion of their business within the industry.
