  • (1888PressRelease) May 27, 2011 - Neptune, NJ - Meridian Health Affiliated Foundations host the 2011 Health Care Perspectives Luncheon on Friday, May 6, at the Ocean Place Resort and Spa in Long Branch from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The event benefits Meridian's not-for-profit hospitals and community health programs in Monmouth and Ocean counties.

    Annette Catino, President and CEO of QualCare, Inc., chairs this educational forum for hundreds of local business leaders to learn about health care issues that have an impact on their companies and communities.

    This year's keynote address is titled, Health Care Reform 101- What You Need to Know Now, and will be presented by John K. Lloyd, FACHE, president of Meridian Health and John J. Gantner, executive vice president of Finance and Partner Company Operations for Meridian Health. This discussion will provide insight on how the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act will impact our community as well as the implementation of the new health care law and its effect on New Jersey residents, employers, hospitals, and health care systems.
