Men's Style Magazine Coming to Jacksonville
Manner aims to be the FIRST magazine dedicated to men's style in the River City.
- Jacksonville, FL (1888PressRelease) March 31, 2018 - Having a lifelong passion for men's style and a subscription to GQ since the age of 15, MannerJax founder Robert Eleazer grew frustrated with the lack of resources for style inspiration that spoke to him and his Florida roots. Few, if any, took into account the repressive heat and the insufferable humidity that the Sunshine State is famous for, so, out of that frustration, Manner was born.
"It baffled me that a city as big as Jacksonville wasn't a household name on par with other, smaller cities. The Jacksonville market is HUGE, yet the fashion scene is relatively sparse."
That frustration, and the need to constantly resort to trolling Pinterest for outfit inspiration, led Eleazer to start his own style blog back in February 2016, which eventually led him to want to launch a full-fledged print magazine with hopes of a launch in the Fall of 2018. With a growing social media presence, he hopes that this will translate to a large readership when the magazine launches later this year.
