MeMD Provides Online Healthcare Services to Pay-Tech

The Arizona-based payroll and HR outsourcing company, Pay-Tech, signed an agreement with MeMD to receive access to their online care service.
"We are placing a tremendous amount of value in our new partnership with MeMD as we are not only trying to control our healthcare costs, but we are also trying to encourage a healthier work environment," said Rene Brofft, President of Pay-Tech.
Pay-Tech employees will now be able to consult MeMD's network of board-certified, highly trained medical providers wherever they go - the office, home or even when traveling. All they need is a webcam and an Internet connection to see a MeMD provider online.
"We provide quick, convenient and high-quality access to medical care," said Ian Vasquez, COO of MeMD. "Our service is perfect for common, non-critical medical issues that require treatment - but shouldn't require waiting long hours to be seen in an urgent care center."
Some of the more common ailments that are treated on MeMD include: allergies, sinus symptoms, urinary tract infections, ear infections and the flu. Many patients also use the service for getting a second opinion or when in need of a short-term prescription.
