Elevator Controls manufactures elevator controls for hydraulic, traction, DC traction, AC traction, MRL elevators, and Prodigy Compact. This partnership allows customers to benefit from the specialties of both companies. MEI's new facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania will better serve the USA's northeast region with a faster service time and lower shipping costs.
Each full service elevator produced by MEI is individually- engineered. The equipment manufactured by MEI is found in every state in the United States as well as several foreign countries. Regardless of a project size or design, MEI pledges a total commitment from start to finish.

Founded in 1971, MEI is an elevator manufacturer who specializes in manufacturing, installation, maintenance, modernization and elevator service. Equipment manufactured by MEI is found in nearly every U.S. state as well as several foreign countries. In addition, MEI installs, modernizes and services equipment within the Midwest. Elevators are a major investment and installation of a new one is expensive. MEI works to modernize existing elevators as well as the manufacture of new ones.
