Medix Staffing Solutions, Inc. will participate in the Veterans Career Hiring Expo on Monday, Aug. 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Soldier Field in Chicago.
- (1888PressRelease) August 13, 2012 - Lombard, Ill. -- Medix Staffing Solutions, Inc., a national staffing organization specialized in recruiting skilled personnel for clients in the Professional Services, Life Sciences, Healthcare and Information Technology industries, will participate in the Veterans Career Hiring Expo on Monday, Aug. 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Soldier Field in Chicago.
Medix representatives will be accepting resumes and conducting informal interviews to find veterans interested in recruiting for the staffing services industry. Medix is looking to expand its recruitment teams across the country, so veterans looking for work beyond the Chicagoland area can explore the national opportunities the company has to offer.
"The ultimate goal is to find interested veterans and set up opportunities for them to visit our offices near their respective cities to learn more about available recruiting positions," said Scott Diamond, Vice President of Corporate Development at Medix. "This is a great opportunity for veterans and for Medix, as we are a company devoted to creating professional success for all jobseekers, especially our nation's heroes."
The Veterans Career Hiring Expo is taking place in conjunction with World Sport Chicago's Valor Games Midwest 2012. This event, hosted by the American Freedom Foundation and presented by CareerBuilder, is free for Veterans and active-duty military personnel.
"Veterans dedicated their lives to protect our freedom, so Medix wants to honor them the best way we can - by providing post-service opportunities," said Diamond. "Veterans are among the most deserving job seekers, so we're excited to participate in such a meaningful event."
