The catalyst behind the move is an increased need for additional space as the Medix internal staff exponentially expands.

Since the inception of the company in 2001, the sales and recruiting force of Medix's flagship office in Lombard has always operated at the same location as the Corporate team. As both teams continue to increase their headcount, it became necessary to re-evaluate the strategy behind having both teams at the same location.

"In the past, we have been able to house all of our salespeople, recruiters, human resources, finance, marketing, payroll, AP/AR and legal team under one roof, but that is no longer possible with our company's hyper growth," said Scott Diamond, Vice President of Corporate Development at Medix.
