Medical Staffing Network announces newest Nurse of the Month Contest winner, Karen Newberger. MSN co-sponsors the contest with local radio station KOOL 105.5 to recognize outstanding local nurses.

The contest, which the company co-sponsors with local radio station KOOL 105.5, recognizes outstanding local nurses. It is promoted on the "Mo and Sally Show" and nominations are open to the public via the station's website.
The latest Nurse of the Month winner is Karen Newberger, RN. The person who nominated Karen said, "Nurse Karen was employed by the Early Childhood Wellness program as a medical consultant. Our center serves at-risk children in the Westgate area. Nurse Karen went way above and beyond her duties of health and nutrition screenings and education. She followed each case within our student population personally. She would go the extra mile at all times (e.g., attending medical appointments with families, finding free nebulizers for families to keep at school). She spent many personal hours working with our families to accommodate their schedules and facilitate communication. Nurse Karen represents the true spirit of nursing."
