The contest, which the Company co-sponsors with local radio station KOOL 105.5, honors exceptional local nurses. The contest is promoted on the "Mo and Sally Show" and nominations are open to the public via the station's website.

March's Nurse of the Month winner is Cathy Grissom, RN, a highly experienced Labor and Delivery nurse. Denise Calise, who works with Cathy and nominated her said, If there are sad circumstances in the L&D unit, Cathy is so comforting to the patients; she sits with them, holds them, sheds tears with them and most of all is gentle and caring. She takes care of the infant as if it were her own and tries to help the family understand what lies ahead. I have never met anyone who goes out of their way to help these families in such a difficult time. Not only is she caring and sensitive to the needs of ALL the patients, she is the same with her coworkers."
