Mecca Design and Production Creates a Vintage Experience at Goody Goody Liquor in Colleyville, Texas
Mecca Design and Production, a leading event and trade show exhibit design group, designed and crafted new displays and signage to create a destination shopping experience for the newest retail location of Goody Goody Liquor in Colleyville, Texas. The design of the store has a turn-of-the-century atmosphere and warm feeling through the use of brick, wood and vintage, custom commissioned artwork.
- Dallas, TX (1888PressRelease) November 01, 2011 - Mecca Design and Production, a leading event and trade show exhibit design group, designed and crafted new three-dimensional displays and custom signage to create a distinctive shopping experience for the newest retail location of Goody Goody Liquor in Colleyville, Texas (4701 Colleyville Blvd., Suite 300, Colleyville, TX 76034). The vast array of vintage signs, paintings, labels and arches come together to create a warm, inviting feel in this the twenty-three thousand square-foot store. Mecca created custom and aged artwork and murals, conceptualized by Dallas Design Group, Interiors, including some of the vintage- looking beer labels in different languages that cover the expansive beer cooler and the "WINE WAREHOUSE" mural gracing the back feature wall. Goody Goody is showcased throughout the store with a "G" on arches and curly cues that tower above turn-of-the-century artwork looking out on a cityscape and images of days long ago.
Lisa Barron, award-winning (1st place commercial remodel interior design for Goody Goody flagship store) designer at Dallas Design Group shared, "Colleyville looks fabulous. The design of the store has a turn-of-the-century atmosphere and warm feeling through the use of brick, wood and vintage, custom commissioned art. Execution and installation of the store was done as a destination shopping experience, much different from a regular liquor store. Colleyville's warm feeling as well as a huge inventory including a vast selection of wines and a Fine Wine Room, creates a store you'd want to go to because of the environment is inviting."
