Meals On Wheels South Florida Selected As Charitable Recipient Of The Giving Tag Program
Support Will Help Alleviate Senior Hunger And Isolation In South Florida.
- Fort Lauderdale, FL (1888PressRelease) May 17, 2019 - Meals on Wheels South Florida announced today that it has been selected as a charitable recipient in the Giving Tag Program, in partnership with Southeastern Grocers. The Giving Tag Program, which launched in February 2019, is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support with the goal of making a difference in the communities where their shoppers live and work.
When a shopper purchases the $2.50 reusable Community Bag at any BI-LO, Fresco y Más, Harveys or Winn-Dixie store, they have the opportunity to direct a $1 donation to Meals on Wheels South Florida by using the attached Giving Tag. This program runs year-round and donations are sent to participating charities on a quarterly basis.
