Meadowlands Regional Chamber Lauds Xanadu Deal With Mall Of America Owner
Triple Five Group, the owner of the Mall of America, signs agreement to take over New Jersey mall retail and entertainment complex.
- Newark, NJ (1888PressRelease) December 30, 2010 - You may have seen recent news reports concerning the planned acquisition of Xanadu by Triple Five Group, which owns Mall of America among others. The Meadowlands Regional Chamber (MRC) in conjunction with its tourism leg, the Meadowlands Liberty Convention and Visitors Bureau (MLCVB), has continued advocacy of the redevelopment of the Meadowlands Sports Complex and consulted with several interested parties in the lead-up to this deal.
In addition, Jim Kirkos, president of MRC and MLCVB, was quoted as a source in most of the related news coverage, including a leading real estate news outlet, The Real Deal, and an Associated Press story that ran in print reports and on hundreds of websites:
