Mchenry Moose Lodge's Classic Car Show and Car Raffle on August 19, 2012
The Moose Lodge of McHenry, Illinois is holding a Classic Car Show and Raffling off a New Car with all proceeds going to the children of Mooseheart.
- Chicago, IL (1888PressRelease) July 24, 2012 - The McHenry Moose lodge is holding a Classic Car Show on Sunday, August 19th. The Show will go on rain or shine from 9 am to 3 pm. All makes and models are welcome. Registration for entries is from 8:30 am to 11 am. There is an entry fee of $10 for all vehicles participating in the show, with all proceeds going to the kids of Mooseheart.
Admission to the public is free and everyone is welcome. Food vendors will be on hand and there will be music and entertainment all day. The Mchenry Moose is also raffling a car this year to raise money for the kids of Mooseheart, in hope to help raise awareness of its cause.
The awards ceremony begins at 3pm and trophies will be awarded for each of the 6 categories. The categories encompass 110 years of automotive history. The judges of the contest will be the owners of the classic cars themselves. The car raffle will follow the trophy presentation.
