MBAF Ranked 37 in the Nation by INSIDE Public Accounting

For the past 21 years, the annual IPA Top 100 list has named the highest net revenue producing accounting firms in the United States. MBAF assumed the 37th spot on the 2011 list based on December 2010 net revenues of $68.1 million up from 42nd the year before.

This January, MBAF combined with New York accounting and consulting firm ERE LLC, adding approximately $21 million in additional revenue and a Northeast presence. The recent combination was not used to calculate the revenue for the 2011 IPA Top 100 list. Today the firm, that opened in Miami in 1969 with a staff of 12, counts on more than 400 principals and employees in offices in Miami, New York, Baltimore, Boca Raton, Boulder, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Valhalla and India. MBAF continues to be largest Florida-based public accounting firm in the state.
According to the 2011 IPA report, top-line growth continued to be a challenge for the Top 100 firms; however, MBAF experienced a 4 percent increase from the prior fiscal year which elevated the firm's ranking into the top 40 from last year's 42nd spot in the top 50.
