Gutierrez has experience globally serving emerging growth and Fortune 500 clients in various capacities, including: M&A integration; IPO readiness; technical accounting consultations; and transaction buy- and sell-side due diligence, including with respect to quality of earnings. His experience spans a multitude of industries, including aviation, energy, real estate and construction.

His technical accounting specialization includes derivatives, business combinations and carve-out financial statements, as well as the implementation of the new revenue recognition accounting standard.

Gutierrez received a Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance and Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University.
