MBAF adds Shaji Varghese as Principal in Audit Department
Varghese joins MBAF with more than 25 years of experience providing audit services to public companies and clients in the commercial and financial services industries.
- (1888PressRelease) January 09, 2015 - MIAMI/NEW YORK - Shaji Varghese, CPA, has joined nationally recognized public accounting firm MBAF as an Audit Practice Leader for Commercial and Financial Services in the Northeast. The announcement was made by Tony Argiz, Chairman and CEO of MBAF.
His expertise includes working with software/technology companies, investment partnerships, mutual funds, venture capital funds, hedge funds, offshore funds, investment advisors, broker - dealers and private equity funds to provide audit services, due diligence work and manage process improvement projects.
"Shaji's extensive knowledge of the commercial, real estate, and financial services industries and strong record of audit services for a broad spectrum of clients make him a valuable asset to both our firm and our clients," said Argiz. Prior to joining MBAF, Varghese worked for a large public accounting firm in Boston for more than 10 years. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York Society of Certified Public Accountants, and is a member of the Financial Management Division of the Securities Industry Association.
Varghese earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Baruch College.
