Mayor of Cupertino inaugurates Leapstart After School at The Oaks Shopping Center
Leapstart After School decided to add this location in response to an increasing demand for their services as a result of an improving economy and a greater number of two income families.
- San Jose, CA (1888PressRelease) June 14, 2013 - The mayor of Cupertino, Mr. Orrin Mahoney, came to inaugurate Leapstart After School's new location at The Oaks Shopping Center at Stevens Creek Blvd. and Mary Ave. in Cupertino, CA on June 9th, 2013. Leapstart After School decided to add this location in response to an increasing demand for their services as a result of an improving economy and a greater number of two income families.
Mr. Orrin Mahoney was joined by dozens of eager and interested parents and children, some of whom are existing customers of Leapstart. In a brief speech, Mayor Mahoney highlighted how Leapstart's new center is a positive addition to Cupertino's existing education programs.
In addition to opening its doors to the children of Cupertino for its after school program, Leapstart also announced a new preschool program that aims at preparing children for kindergarten, as well as their upcoming summer camp in June and weekly workshops in July.
