On May 8 (Sunday), boxing fans and sports enthusiasts can watch the much-awaited fight of the year, with Pergola's live telecast of the Pacquiao-Mosley World Welterweight Championship at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The highly-anticipated bout features two boxing champs at the top of their form. Rated as the "number one" pound-for-pound best boxer in the world, Manny Pacquiao is an eight-division world champion and the first boxer in history to win ten world titles. He was named "Fighter of the Decade" by the Boxing Writers Association of America, and is currently a member of the Philippines' House of Representatives, as Congressman of Sarangani.
Born in California, "Sugar Shane" Mosley has won world titles in three weight divisions. He has never been knocked out in his entire professional boxing career. His challenge of Pacquiao's welterweight crown will surely electrify Pergola, as guests and spectators are treated to this heart-pumping showdown.
Tickets are now available, PhP400 for the VIP room access inclusive of breakfast buffet (8AM to 10AM), PhP350 for the fine dining section, and PhP300 for the stage area.
Then on May 27 (Friday), comedy takes centerstage as Allan K performs at Pergola. The popular TV host, singer and comedian is expected to bring the house down in his hilarious musical comedy show, back-to-back with Betty & Osang.
A co-host in Eat Bulaga since 1995, Allan K has also appeared in various TV shows of GMA-7 like Banda Oke, All Star K, The One Million Videoke Challenge, 1 for 3 and Beh Bote Nga. His newest TV show, Comedy Bar, is co-hosted with comedienne Eugene Domingo.
