Maxim Rides and Goods Delivery staff and drivers helped renovate a local elementary school, earning a certificate of appreciation for their community service and social impact.
- (1888PressRelease) September 04, 2024 - In late July, the service staff and drivers of Maxim Rides and Goods Delivery teamed up to give a new look to a local elementary school. In recognition, the school expressed its deep gratitude and presented Maxim with a certificate of appreciation for their community service.
Maxim has taken the lead in fostering community unity and is making a substantial social impact through its participation in Brigada Eskwela at Mariano Villegas Elementary School, Brgy. Zone 3, Koronadal City. The initiative was supported by the school principal, the PTA president, parents, the head of Maxim Koronadal Bren S. Bigbig, Maxim Support Specialist Markovich Stanley Arenos, and dedicated volunteer Maxim riders.
The event was attended by both office employees and volunteer drivers. During the event, the Maxim team cleaned the surrounding area and renewed the paint on the school building. The event was aimed to enhance the school environment, maintain learning facilities, and create an inspiring educational atmosphere.
“We are proud to have partnered with Mariano Villegas Elementary School for this meaningful community service initiative. Through Brigada Eskwela, not only do we contribute to a cleaner and more conducive learning environment, but also strengthen our ties with the local community,” stated Bren S. Bigbig, the head of Maxim Koronadal.
Mrs. Merly Anotado Piamonte-Schoop, the Principal of Mariano Villegas Elementary School, expressed her gratitude for what the company did for the school. According to her, the company helped to save the budget that would have otherwise been spent on hiring workers. Parents of students from this school also expressed their general gratitude.
“We are glad that your company joined our Brigada Eskwela. Your contributions have greatly improved our school, ensuring a happy and clean environment for our students as they eagerly return to classes”, said Mrs. Merly Anotado Piamonte-Schoop.
Recognizing the school’s resource challenges, Maxim Rides and Food Delivery donated essential supplies such as trash bins, brooms, and paint. This support underscores their commitment to enhancing educational facilities and promoting community welfare.
"It’s heartening to see local businesses like Maxim Rides and Food Delivery stepping up to support our school. Their donations and volunteer efforts are making a real difference in our children’s education,” comments Mr. Joven Grandado, the PTA President.
The initiative exemplifies Maxim Rides and Food Delivery’s dedication to corporate social responsibility and community engagement, setting a commendable example for local businesses to meaningfully contribute to education and societal development.
