- (1888PressRelease) June 17, 2013 - The awareness campaign was held to fight against 'Lifestyle Diseases'.In order to further strengthen the objective of raising awareness, a painting competition Health-Splashwas organized for children.The main focus to organize MaxHealthy India 2013 - Health Splash was to create awareness about Preventive Healthcarethat will have positive implication on Health, Behaviour and Attitude of people.The prize distribution ceremony for Health-Splashwas held today at IPEX Bhawan , Patparganj.
The ceremony was graced with the presence of special guests including Shri Harish Rawat, Hon'ble Union Minister for Water Resources; Shri Amrish Singh Gautam, Dy. Speaker, Delhi Legislative Assembly; Shri Haripal Rawat,Social Activist; Shri Jaspal Rana, Ace Shooter, Padmashree and Arjuna Awardee; Shri Hemant Pandey, Bollywood actor and Shri Anurag Dhondiyal, Secretary General, Foundation for Social Awakening.
Commenting on the occasion, Mr Neeraj Mishra, VP - Operations, Max Super Speciality Hospital, Patparganj said "Our initiative- MaxHealthy India 2013 received an overwhelming response as more than 300 + children participated in the painting competition. Max Super Speciality Hospital, Patparganj along with Foundation for Social Awakening (FSA) organized the event taking into account the dire need for healthy living. In addition to the medical interventions that we provide at the hospital, wealso recognize the importance of educating people in order to help them achieve changes in their lifestyles necessary for preventing illness."

The competition was divided into two categories based on age of participants- 7 to 10 years- Category 1and 11 to 15 years- Category 2 with themes like 'Cigarette Smoking is injurious to Health' and 'Healthy Lifestyle and Healthy India'.
The children enthusiasticallywaited forthe results of Health Splash.
There were three winners from each category and three consolation prizes for the contestants.In Category 1 and Category 2 Eshita Jainand Anushka Dayal baggedthe first prize, Archit Singh and Vatsala Jindal won the second prize and Aaditya Sinha and Rupali Goel won the third prize respectively.
The competition was like an extravagance for little painters as children used their brilliance of painting blended with the perceptions displayed on the canvas.
Anushka Dayal said, "It is a great honor for me and I am basking in the glory. I painted on the theme of' Healthy Lifestyle and Healthy India'."
