Pittsburgh comedian Matt Wohlfarth kicks off his newest tour, the SnowFunny Comedy Tour, with shows at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, March 11 and Saturday, March 12 at Peak'n Peak Resort & Spa in Clymer, NY, near Erie, PA.
"A 90 minute avalanche of laughter."
Erie, PA (1888PressRelease) February 27, 2011 - The show, restricted to those age 18 and older, is billed as "a 90-minute avalanche of comedy" by Wohlfarth, who has earned a reputation for his innovative approaches to presenting thematic stand-up comedy.
A few years ago, he introduced the Midlife Crisis Comedy Tour, a national tour that was designed to appeal to Baby Boomers, and Comedy on Demand, a series of club dates during which he performed comedy based on topical requests received from audience members during the show.
Wohlfarth also established a class through which he teaches aspiring stand-ups how to develop comedic material, stage presence and performance skills.
Tickets for the SnowFunny shows are $18 each, and available in the resort's online gift shop (www.pknpk.com) and at 716-355-4141, ext. 7316.
Peak'n Peak is also offering a special SnowFunny Overnight Package for guests who'd like to attend one of the shows and experience the resort's other amenities. The package includes two night's lodging at the Inn, a $50 dining credit and two tickets to either evening's performance. Those interested in more information about the package are asked to call 800-772-6906.
Appearing on the show with Matt will be hilarious slacker comedian Justin Markuss and dentist turned comedian, Anthony Monteleone. Justin Markuss has been making audiences laugh throughout the country with his unique perspective and quirky style. Anthony is a dentist who started doing comedy on a lark only to win a comedy contest at the Pittsburgh Improv beating out comedians who have been in the business for many years. His abrupt and brutally honest comedy style will have audiences roaring with laughter. Anthony touts himself as "the only comedian with a copay."
