Matrox's Latest AV Solutions at ISE 2012 Open Up New Video Wall and KVM Extension Possibilities
Mura MPX video wall controller boards to power a nine-monitor Full HD display wall, while Avio KVM extender drives uncompressed workstation performance two kilometers away from host PC
- (1888PressRelease) January 06, 2012 - Montreal, Canada - Matrox Graphics today announced that its latest Matrox Mura MPX Series video wall controller board and Matrox Avio KVM extender solutions will be showcased at ISE 2012, Europe's largest professional AV and systems integration trade show. Mura, the new standard in video wall technology featuring a revolutionary four-input/four-output board design, will power multiple high-performance video walls-including a 3x3, nine-monitor platform-while Avio's unrivaled fiber-optic transmission technology will extend uncompressed HD content from the host system to a remote dual-monitor operator station. Matrox personnel will also demonstrate the productivity enhancements gained by adding two monitors or projectors to a notebook or desktop computer, courtesy of Matrox DualHead2Go external multi-monitor adapters.
-Matrox Mura MPX single-slot video wall controller boards are based on PCI Express x16 Gen 2 technology that leverage 64 Gbit/sec duplex data transfer for flawless display of Full HD inputs across Full HD outputs. A Technology InAVation Awards 2012 finalist, Mura is capable of driving conference and boardroom style presentation platforms of up to four displays with a single board. Multiple Mura boards can meanwhile be combined to build larger, high-density, scalable video walls for digital signage or in control room and other mission-critical environments.
-Matrox Avio KVM extenders support one dual-link DVI or two single-link DVI displays, keyboard, mouse, and USB devices at distances of up to 300 meters (984 feet) and 2,000 meters (6,561 feet) over a single fiber-optic cable in Multi-Mode and Single-Mode, respectively. Avio's high-bandwidth, fiber-optic transmission results in exceptional graphics performance and smooth HD video playback without any dropped frames.
-Matrox DualHead2Go external multi-monitor adapters connect two monitors or projectors to a laptop or desktop computer, and use the system's existing GPU to provide high-quality, uncompressed graphics and video content across all monitors. The expanded onscreen desktop allows users to run full-screen applications on each display or open one program across both outputs.
