(1888PressRelease) September 16, 2009 - Watsonville, CA - Today Santa Cruz Holistics announced that it is seeking master distributors for the Touchstone ‘personal muscle tester’ in the U.S., Canada, South America, Europe, Asia, and Oceana.

The Touchstone was developed by Santa Cruz Holistics, under its Vitascans label, for the well-established consumer market that seeks alternative remedies for health and wellness.

The Touchstone is a two and one half inch, microprocessor-controlled, hand-held disc. The Touchstone software stores and compares two readings, one before and one after exposure to a particular substance, to indicate whether that substance is potentially beneficial or detrimental to an individual’s well being. The results are shown by a series of red and green LEDs and two amber LEDs. The red lights indicate ‘no,’ the green lights indicate ‘yes,’ and the amber lights indicate ‘neutral.’

The Touchstone can also be used as an ‘emotional response tester,’ in which the device would show the results to a particular thought of an individual.

Santa Cruz Holistics developed the Touchstone over a two year period, through the efforts of a great team. There were many talented people involved in the project, but the two main contributors were Franklyn Eventoff, founder of Sensitronics, and, Buryl Payne, Ph.D, the developer of the first patented Bio-Feedback machine and the first granola bar for General Mills.

Touchstones have been available since 2007, and, although they have not been actively marketed, they have sold through our website www.vitascans.com to consumers, doctors, therapists and alternative health practitioners all over the world, including Australia, Canada, Dubai, England, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Qatar, Scotland, Singapore, Turkey and the United States.

The Touchstone could be sold through ‘specialty’ retail stores, as well as the offices of chiropractors and alternative health practitioners, and can also be implemented by psychologists, chiropractors, therapists and alternative health practitioners in their practices.
