Our trainer will lead us through the process of pre-commissioning, mechanical completions and commissioning, and we will go through management aspects of commissioning and the handover to production and initial start up of the new facility.
Important aspects of essential pre-commissioning documentation will be covered in detail on Day 1, where crucial terms and responsibilities between the company and their contractors will be shared to ensure a successful commissioning strategy. In Day 2, safety aspects such as risk based commissioning strategies, mechanical completions, which signifies the end of pre-commissioning stage, as well as the initial start-ups and operational testing of the commissioning process will be highlighted. Last but not least, Day 3 covers the procedures for the actual start up of the plant, as well as the final handovers. Lessons learnt from past experiences at the different stages of commissioning will also be shared with the class so that such mistakes can be avoided in the future.
