Mason Lieberman, Brentalfloss, Dom Palombi, to Headline 8th Annual Video Games and Music Convention
Gamer's Rhapsody is proud to present the eighth iteration of it's annual event in Plymouth, Minnesota from April 1st - 3rd of 2022. The event will consist of musical performances on multiple stages of a variety of genres. Additionally, guests can expect local and visiting musicians, game vendors, artists, and panel discussions. Gamer's Rhapsody is pleased to announce the return of Video Games & Music Convention (VGM CON) at the Crowne Plaza Minneapolis West located in Plymouth, Minn. on April 1 – 3. The music festival celebrates the art of video games by bringing together fans, musicians, composers, developers and artists. The event will be hosted in person with vaccination and masking requirements and virtually for remote attendees. Some of this year’s special guests include Mason Lieberman (award-winning composer, audio director, and producer), Brentalfloss (musician and comedian) and Dom Palombi (drummer, composer, educator).
In addition to live musical performances, VGM CON: Lift Off will include workshops, a jam space where musicians can meet up and perform alongside one another, panels hosted by industry professionals and internet personalities, a vendor room to pick up game-related goods, and more across the three-day event that embraces “ready for lift off” as its 2022 theme.

The 2022 convention will see more music than ever before with a second music performance stage added to the many activities offered during the weekend. The new stage is specialized for acoustic performances by day and electronic music by night.
"I can’t wait to see our community in person again,” comments Thomas Spargo, Executive Director for Gamer’s Rhapsody. “While our organization has adapted well to a virtual environment, I miss the spontaneous jamming with other musicians and the random encounters you get at in person events. Many of our community members haven’t seen each other in person since our last event in 2020, so this year will feel like a giant reunion.”
