To a question Martha said that she is a lifelong learner who is continuously advancing her knowledge of education, in many of its different facets.
Differentiating adult education from regular studies, Martha stated that adults bring their lifetime of experiences to their learning. They also often come with an agenda. They are enrolled in the course or program for a specific reason: furthering their education, increasing their skill sets for employment reasons, and learning for the sake of learning, to name a few.
