- New York, NY (1888PressRelease) October 01, 2010 - Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Face The Music, Paul Kwiecinski announces the release of a "single" from their soon-to-be released 2nd music CD, Your Work is Your Song. The first single is a remake of the old Muddy Waters hit Got My Mojo Working which features Marshall Goldsmith, top leadership keynote speaker and best selling author of Mojo-How to Get It, How To Keep It, How To Get It Back If You Lose It.
Paul has shared billings as a speaker and trainer with Marshall, and suggested that they re-do the old Muddy Waters hit "Got My Mojo Working" in conjunction with the book. In his usual style, Marshall said, "Why that sounds like a great idea!"
This version of "Mojo Working" is a non-standard arrangement of the song featuring an exceptional vocal performance by Akie Bermiss of FTM, and excerpts of Marshall Goldsmith talking about his principles of connecting to your mojo in your work
The track also includes a live recording featuring an enthusiastic performance by the Corning LFPM Leadership Class 2010 (a Face The Music client) on the call & response background vocals.
Mojo originally meant a Hoodoo good luck charm. In Goldsmith speak it is "…that positive spirit toward what we are doing now that starts from the inside and radiates to the outside." Especially in how that relates to our life's work.
It will be featured on Face The Music's upcoming CD "Your Work is Your Song" along with titles like:
• Used to be a Cowboy-Originally written for PayPal, it is about an old "cowboy" thinking about the wild startup days
• Gotta Grow -Originally written for a Bank of America's leadership training program, it works the metaphor of growing a garden, and how that's like growing your business
• Business Blues-Full steam ahead rockin' blues; originally written for a Bandag tire sales group: "Got the Business Blues? Our cure will set you right!"
